When installing the 1000G1, note that one end of the cable is marked MB and the other end PSU. If these are connected incorrectly, it will prevent your system from powering on.

The end marked MB must connect to the motherboard, and the end marked PSU (circled in green, above) must be plugged in to the power supply to the connector labeled "MB" (also circled in green, below).
