On the Master BIOS which has a little less power target and a little bit less fan curve hit 60c, we never even saw 61c, so that tells me we've got a LOT of headroom for overclocking, and that is freaking amazing.

When it comes to the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING iCX 3.0 there’s little not to like, Dual BIOS, ICX Cooling solution, 10 + 2 phase power, massively powerful, eye candy galore and knowing you can play any game out there at max settings. We saw the temperature spike to 70°C for a split second then the third fan kicked in and leveled out at 69°C and remained at 68 – 69°C showing what a fantastic cooler the ICX design really is.

The custom cooler on the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 is both creatively styled and effective – it runs cool and does so while remaining quieter than the Founders Edition.

This board overclocks quite well, I was able to get our Core i7-7700K up to 4.9 GHz at 1.35V Vcore. If you are looking for a motherboard that has all of the great features you would expect of a motherboard in this class without all of the extra bling this is a great choice.
