Highest Performing Single Graphics Board Far exceeding the performance of any PC graphics board available today, EVGA's new e-GeForce 7950 GX2 graphics card includes two top-of-the-line, 90nm GeForce 7950 GPUs, delivering 48 pixel pipes and 1GB of graphics memory on a single graphics board. Architectural efficiency is a major advantage of the e-GeForce 7950 GX2 versus the competition. Each 7950 GPU is only 196 square millimeters in size, allowing efficient power and thermal management of a dual-GPU board consuming a maximum of 143 watts. An e-GeForce 7950 GX2 board fits into a single PCI Express slot, occupying a two-slot volume. Both 7950 GPUs on a single e-GeForce 7950 GX2 board work in tandem to accelerate the performance of over 250 popular 3D titles. For the few games that may not work well with two GPUs, the 7950 GX2 will operate in single GPU-mode. Compared to a single 7900 GX2 dual-GPU board used in initial Quad SLI systems, the e-GeForce 7950 GX2 delivers similar performance, but is only nine inches long to better fit most cases and permit more flexible peripheral installation and cooling solutions. A 7950 GX2 card will work in both SLI and non-SLI motherboards. |
