EVGA @ CPL Summer Championships 2005

EVGA @ CPL Summer Championship 2005

Besides being the USA's only Official Stop on the $1,000,000 CPL World Tour, the Summer Championships plays host to official competitions in wildly popular games such as Counter-Strike: Source, Day of Defeat, WarCraft III and Halo 2. This event will also feature several non-official tournaments from a wide spectrum of other PC games. About $200,000 in cash and prizes will be offered in the different tournaments.

Taking place in the lavish Gaylord Texan Resort, in Grapevine, Texas between July 6 to July 10, 2005, the CPL has reserved 1,000 rooms (its largest block ever) to help accommodate the more than 5,000 gamers from over 50 countries that are expected to attend this world-class event.

If you're going to be among the multitude of gamers in attendance, please feel free to drop by the NVIDIA booth to visit EVGA's very own Joe Darwin and Wade Shelley. They'll be on hand to give away various promotional items, as well as selling a limited quantity of specially priced high-end graphics cards. Or if you even just want to meet the men behind the message board posts, stop by and say hello.
