EVGA.com Expands Retail Business with Partnership at Best Buy



Brea, CA-September 13, 2002- EVGA.com, a leading provider of graphics accelerators, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with the retailer Best Buy to provide retail product, both AGP and PCI versions of NVIDIA’s GeForce4 MX420 chipset. Expect products to be available in selected Best Buy stores by mid September.

EVGA.com’s product is the first retail offering to include nVDVD™ software from NVIDIA. nVDVD™ is a complete software DVD solution designed to provide crisp DVD playback as well as delivering a home theater-like experience on mobile and desktop PCs. “This excellent software application takes advantage of the video acceleration features of NVIDIA’s GPU’s which gives a perfect match between hardware and software,” stated Keith Rochford, Chief Engineer of EVGA.com

The GeForce4 MX420 family - delivering features such as Accuview Antialiasing, nVIEW Multi-Display technology, and Lightspeed Memory Architecture II – is the best price to performance value on the market today. Both AGP and PCI versions come with a TV out connector and EVGA.com’s proprietary ADM software installation utility for easy setup and configuration. These products are being released into the add-in video card market as a mainstream video graphics solution to support today’s advanced 3D entertainment, educational, internet, and business/SOHO applications.

This partnership with Best Buy provides consumers the opportunity to acquire
EVGA.com products previously available in the channel to VAR’s, dealers, and system integrators.
